OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE

18M CERTIFICATION

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. PADI® Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world. There is a small group diving policy, of up to 3 divers per group.

Requirements:

  • Prerequisites: Able to swim; medically fit for diving
  • Total time commitment: 4-5 days
  • Minimum age: 10 years or older
  • Depth: expect shallow dives (12m/40ft), the maximum allowed depth is 18m/60ft

ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE

30M CERTIFICATION

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills and making you a responsible
diver that choose the right diving profile in each dive adventure! You’ll practice navigation and
buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it’s like a specialty sampler
platter). The course includes five dives: a deep dive below 18m/60f, a navigation dive, and three specialty dives. Gain experience, build confidence and discover your diving abilities.

Requirements:

  • Prerequisites: Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
  • Total time commitment: 3 days
  • Minimum age: 12 years or older
  • Depth: The maximum depth depends on your age, but maximum depth is up to 30metres/100 feet

RESCUE DIVER COURSE

  • Prerequisites: Adventure Diver/Junior Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification) with completed Underwater Navigation Dive; EFR Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months
  • Total time commitment: 4-7 days
  • Minimum age: 12 years or older
  • Depth: 0

Scuba divers

DIVEMASTER

Be a leader who mentors and motivates others. Gain dive knowledge, supervision abilities, and
become a role model to divers around the world.
Share your passion for scuba diving by becoming a PADI Divemaster. As a divemaster you’ll
supervise scuba diving activities and assist with scuba classes. PADI Divemaster is the first step
in your diving career.

Requirements:

  • Prerequisites: Rescue Diver, 40 logged dives, CPR and First Aid certification within 24 months, medical clearance to dive.
  • Total time commitment: Approximately 50 hours
  • Minimum age: 18 years or older

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Training

Emergency First Response® primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive.

Learn how to perform CPR, provide first aid that eases pain, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting.

Requirements:

  • Prerequisites: Desire to help others
  • Total time commitment: 4-8 hours
  • Minimum age: None

Learn How to:

  • Respond to a variety of illness and injuries

  • Handle a possible spinal injury

Deposits & Cancellation Policy

  • 30 days before any reservation a deposit (30% of the total price) is required to secure it.
  • The outstanding balance must be paid on the first day of the diving activity.
  • H2O Diving Nomads Paros reserves the right to modify or cancel any dive due to unsafe weather conditions, technical difficulties or any other unpredictable cause. The above stated may involve a change in destination/ or choice of dive site.
  • In the event that H2O Diving Nomads Paros cancels a dive, clients will have the right to reschedule their dive at no additional cost or receive a full refund.
  • No refund will be issued in the event that a client does not show up, for any reason, at the scheduled start time and location of the dive or course.
  • Cancellations received 7 days before the first day booked are eligible for a full refund, less any bank charges, credit card charges and any exchange rate losses if incurred.
  • Cancellations received less than 7 days before the first day of the reservation have a fee of 10€ per dive per day.
  • In the event that a cancellation is received in less than 7 days before the first day of the reservation the deposit will not be refundable.
  • For cancellations made at the dive site, the full payment must be paid.
  • The course deposit will not be refundable in any case.
